Western Launch of Native Leaders of Canada - Vancouver, 26 November 2008

The Western launch of our book took place at the Law Courts Inn Restaurant in Vancouver with the participation of many invited guests from the Aboriginal community in and around the Lower Mainland. Among those in attendance were Chief Shawn Atleo, Chief Lynda Price, Chief Leah George Wilson, President Dumont of the Métis Nation, Shiela Reynolds of BC Hydro, John Bernard, President of Donna Cona Inc., Allyson Rowe of INAC and Alain Comeau from Canadian Heritage. Hosts for the evening were Jean Chevrier, President and Publisher at New Federation House, Denis Daigneault, Vice-president of New Federation House and Editor of Native Leaders of Canada, and Gerald Gummersell, a Director of New Federation House and Chairman of The Gummersell Group.
